They discovered the deepest living fish ever found: A snailfish
Aberdeen University researchers set new record for deepest fish found. It was spotted 26,722ft down in the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean. Called a snailfish it has a ghostly tadpole-like body and no scales. It breaks the previous record by 1,640 feet (500 metres). Scientists don't think fish can live much deeper because the pressure becomes too intense. Watch the footage below:
